Youth-led boys group

We have recently teamed up with the Students Commission of Canada to expand our support to the future men of our community.

About the Program
Made for Mondays is a weekly program designed to connect youth with positive male role models in the community. It creates space for meaningful conversations about everyday life, relationships, and personal growth—all in a safe, youth-led and adult-supported environment.

Each session includes dinner, a fun activity to learn or try, and a group discussion focused on themes such as understanding relationships, identifying root causes of violence, and building critical thinking skills to make healthier choices. The conversations are led by youth and facilitated by trained adult allies, ensuring that every participant feels heard, understood, and respected.

The programming is provided by the Students Commission of Canada, and the sessions are run by adult allies from the Golden Men’s Group.

We plan to relaunch the program this fall, potentially expanding to include youth aged 15–19. If weather permits, sessions will take place outdoors and include activities like skateboarding, biking, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, etc. (As funding allows)
